While we provide information about available funding opportunities, we do not assist directly with the application or approval process.

For help determining eligibility or applying for funding, individuals should reach out to:

  • Their local Career Center / American Job Center (AJC)

These organizations can help guide applicants through program options like WIOA, Vocational Rehab, and MyCAA.

Oklahoma Workforce Development

We are thrilled to announce that Financial Counseling Network has been officially approved and added to the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) through the Oklahoma Workforce Development Program. This means individuals in Oklahoma now have access to fully funded training opportunities in the financial and credit counseling fields.

Who May Qualify?

You may be eligible if you meet any one of the following criteria:

1. Adults (General)

  • Low-income (earning $26/hour or less).

  • Must provide all paystubs for the past 6 months.

2. Dislocated Workers

  • Must have a letter of layoff.

  • Receiving or recently exhausted unemployment benefits (within the last 6 months).

  • Not returning to the same industry.

3. Youth (Ages 18–24)

  • High school dropout.

  • Pregnant or parenting.

  • Foster care experience.

  • Documented disability.

  • Basic skills deficient and low income.

4. Other Situations

  • Other barriers may also qualify—speak to a representative for more information.

Veterans Education Benefits

VA-Approved Certification Programs
We’re proud to support those who’ve served. The following certification programs are approved by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs for GI Bill® and other VA education benefits. If you are a veteran or eligible family member, you may be able to use your education benefits to cover the cost of certification exams offered through the National Association of Certified Credit Counselors (NACCC).

Approved Exams Include:

  • Certified Credit Counselor

  • Certified Financial Health Counselor

  • Certified Housing Counselor

  • Certified Student Loan Counselor

  • Certified Financial and Career Coach

  • Certified Financial Counselor

These exams are approved for funding under Chapters 30, 32, 35, and 36 of Title 38, and Chapter 1606 of Title 10, U.S.C.
